Un-knowledge,
treated with witty and apparent bible truth
Title: THE EXAMPLE
1 .
What example can be considered exemplary?
3 .
How much examples should be replicated?
As
you pounder on these questions think of the astonishing characters that Jesus
Christ had during His ministry. Read
Matthew chapter 14 verse 14; Matthew chapter 15 verse 32 and Matthew chapter 20
verse 30 to 34 and grasp Cues to His ideal Examples.
Preface/prologue
A lecturer comes to class and
starts teaching. In the course of his teaching, he gives articulate examples
with a nimble character and he enunciates well enough the examples he gave. At
the end of his lecture/teaching, he gives an assignment and expects his
students to attend to his assignment in like manner as he did with the examples
he gave at the initial phase of his lecture/teaching. Well a few of his
students came with answers to his assignment following the examples he gave and
their efforts were marvelous. Some neglected the examples he gave and came up
with scribbles and scrawls and he was displeased with such. Remember His
Disciples. “And they went out following the legacies of Jesus Christ and were
called Christians meaning Christ like” read
Acts
of the Apostles chapter 11 verse 26.
I am not saying you should go do your homework with precision and recourse to
the examples given to you by your teacher(s) or lecturer(s), I just need you to
understand the necessity of resorting to and following with diligence worthy
examples. HEY! DO YOUR WORK WITH THE RIGHT EXMAPLES
Auld lang syne, a woman with a
good head and a bright heart so blessed and inspired by GOD had to pen the
inspiring words from GOD down and into a book. This she did because GOD gave
her a foresight so she could foresee and see the need of GOD’s people in a
dying world. And so with every fibre she’s got, she shared and spread every bit
of that word so refreshing, reviving and reforming from the Almighty GOD which
seeks to rekindle the little emblem of hope left in the world. Her name is
Ellen G. White and she was sturdy with GOD’s biddings and unrelenting with the
great commission as an emissary for Jesus Christ. O! What a perfect Christian
etiquette she had, many who knew her would say but then what examples have you
in store that others may learn from?
Why
not ask yourself this very question in context of the relevance to the legacy
you might leave or is leaving behind. Remember Matthew chapter 5 verse 14 to 16 that iterates the very quiddity of
our Christian life as being light of the world that cannot be hid, hence should
not be hid. What example do you give as light to individual beings around you?
Message Body
Humans
or Christians often think the ideal and could be hypothetical with the morals
and precept of GOD, when they ought to be both perceptive and practical with
the ideal/moral codes and GOD’s precept. Well, it is quite a trevail for humans
to be both perceptive and practical with the things of GOD on their own, hence
it is seemingly impossible for the carnal man to accomplish such. What benefit
and what example do you give by thinking the ideal and not practicing it? You
think right and not do right, what is your recompense?
Unlike
any or many humans, Jesus Christ did not only think the ideal, He also
practiced it with ply Ergo the concept of the ideal Christian came to light.
Jesus Christ’s life describes the very essence and purpose of the Christian
journey and in this, He gave swift and astonishing examples as pace setters for
the now Christians to mimic with poise and grace. He came as an unwearied
saviour to both serve and save that even in spite of our varied needs, cares
and troubles, He still devoted time to settle all thou they be of great
difference and then He bids us to come unto him that He may give us peace and
rest that is overwhelming Matthew 11: 28 & 29 and Luke 1: 79. What better
example can we have in lieu of Jesus Christ’s examples? When in his ministry,
His face was the first some persons ever saw; his voice, the first some ever
heard; His name, the first some ever pronounced. All these were the outcomes of
His compassionate and selfless deeds, and yes worthy examples to be copied.
Question: If you consider yourself Christian and
Christ like, how much of his meek character have you practiced with the hope of
rekindling the hopes and joys of the downtrodden, the bereft, the weak and the
have-nots?
Jesus
Christ is our example and HE is the very reason we are called Christians so
represent Him right.
The
book of Matthew as you find From Chapter 4 down to Chapter 26 spoken well of
the wonderful teachings He gave and the amazing things that Jesus Christ
accomplished on earth before his eventual demise and of course, His remarkable
and hope assuring resurrection. His words were so charming, thrilling and
enriching that the worldly pleasures that has turned into an enchantment to
wile and beguile the vast majority of the earth residing people and keeping them
spell bound and hazy was broken and vanquished. In like manner, although Jesus
Christ is not physically here with us now, his aura and love is quasi to words
so thrilling, causing many today to leave the pleasure of this world for the
peace and love that he offers and some are at the verge of leaving their lewd
life for a just and shrewd one. “His death on the cross of Calvary is the apt
and pure definition of the perfect love that He has for man, Love that respects
no manner of tradition, race or borders” {1st
John 1:7, But if we walk in the light, as He is the light, we have fellowship
one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all
sin}. The light spoke of in the Bible speaks vision, clarity,
understanding, truth, wisdom and knowledge of God, His lavished grace so full;
His lenity; His Love; His Precepts/commandments; and His sacred words. In the
book of John chapter 9 verse 5 Jesus Christ gave humanity an
assuring word when He said “As
long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world”. This tells of his
ever watching and caring propriety and character perfected by His love for
humanity.
Just so
you know, it’s so awesome to have the knowledge that even thou he is not
physically here with us, He is still teaching us how to do just and good with
the aid of the Holy Spirit of God that will reveal to us mysteries and guides
us according to what He shall hear. This simply means that the Holy Spirit of
God, will be told and he will speak unto you and me as told {Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is
come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of himself; but
whatsoever he shall hear, that shall He speak: and will shew you things to
come. John 16 verse 13}.

In like
manner as He did, it is now a responsibility of ours to speak those thrilling,
enriching and hope awakening words of truth not tortuous but understandable
that we have amassed from Him as worthy examples to the very extent that even
when we are no more or not near, our legacy will continue to speak for us as Jesus
Christ is still speaking to many today {I mean act in quasi to the life of
Jesus Christ, He is our example}.
Summary/Epilogue
Jesus Christ was never caught in
contemning practices; He never displayed a malign character and was never
devious from the truth. He mastered probity and obedience with his thole and
distraught hauled at him by men under Satan’s sway {Thou he were a son, yet learned He
obedience by the things which He suffered. Hebrews chapter 5 verse 8}. Social
strata or mogul clique could neither daunt nor thwart his mission to save and his
values to instil, for He was virtuous still.
